Vultures at Aransas National Wildlife Refuge (Nov 2019)

Vultures are some of my favorite birds to watch. They have so much personality and seem to really know how to have fun. At the Aransas NWR, there was a large group of turkey vultures and black vultures playing in the trees near the marsh by the birding platform.

This particular turkey vulture was playing around on a tree limb and appeared to be annoying the nearby vultures who were roosting.
