The American avocet's curved bill is pretty distinctive. These avocets were hanging around with green-winged teals and northern shovelers.

Juvenile Reddish Egret at Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center (Nov 2022)
Juvenile reddish egrets are actually white. They look a lot like snowy egrets, except that snowy egrets have yellow on their faces and their feet.

Roseate Spoonbill at Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center (Part 1) (Nov 2022)
While adult roseate spooonbills are the stuff of pink, feathery nightmares, juvenile roseate spoonbills are delightfully derpy. I absolutely love watching them and this one was especially cool with having its photo taken.
